Multi-turn absolute position hollow sensor that senses joint movement when the robot is turned off

Hello, this is Sensor Lab. Multi-turn absolute position sensor that senses joint movement even when the robot is turned off. The number of cases where multi-turn absolute position sensors are mounted on robot joints is increasing. Existing encoders had difficulty recognizing multi-turns in large hollow structures, but this product easily recognizes multi-turn absolute positions even in large hollow structures. We will briefly introduce a demonstration of recognizing the rotation speed and angle when the power is turned on. It is possible to use it in combination with gears or with a magnetic scale as shown in the following application example, but in this video, it is recommended to use it in combination with gears. thank you SensorLAB

Freely Design Disk Size of Hollow shaft encoder for robot - SensorLAB

Hello, this is Sensor Lab. The encoder used in robot joints has a hollow structure. However, it is difficult to design because the hollow diameter is limited. We are introducing a multi-turn absolute position sensor(encoder) that allows you to freely manufacture the disk hollow diameter and outer diameter. It can be freely processed and manufactured using a gear scale. Of course, gear processing does not require manufacturing molds and can be manufactured inexpensively. Connecting 6 encoders on a robot with 1 cable (Multi Slave, BiSS) - SensorLAB

Hello, this is Sensor Lab. Robots use multiple position sensors (encoders). Two encoders are used in the joints of the collaborative robot. Six hollow encoders are also used for teaching and shock detection of industrial robots. We will introduce a method of receiving position data by connecting multiple encoders at once with one cable. We applied iC-Haus' BiSS communication and demonstrated it by connecting 4 and 6 sensors.
